After 6 hours of competition, Snyder High School Speech and Debate Team was named 4A Region XIV Sweepstakes Champions and has several State Congress Qualifiers!
Xachariah Johnson 1st place
Jaxon Angeley 3rd place and Outstanding Presiding Officer
Brylee McKay 4th place
Also competing for the team were Maximiliano Ruiz, Dagan Carthel, and Ronneigh Carlon.
Xach and Jaxon qualified to compete at the UIL State Congress Tournament in January, and Brylee will serve as first alternate.
