We are proud to congratulate Snyder Primary School kindergarten teacher Jocelyn Gonzales on being named the Region 14 Elementary Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Gonzales qualified to receive this honor after first being named the Snyder ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year earlier this spring. She will now advance to the state-level competition, where finalists are chosen to represent Texas in the National Teacher of the Year program.

Kindergarten is a critical year for young learners. It is where children begin to build essential skills in reading, writing, math, and social development. It is also where they first discover the joy of learning and the confidence to take risks and grow. Mrs. Gonzales is known for equipping students with these foundational skills and for empowering them with the confidence to use them.
Congratulations, Mrs. Gonzales, and thank you for the care, commitment, and impact you bring to your classroom and our community each and every day.
Go Tigers!
