Students at Snyder Junior High School are taking Principles of Engineering! This class is for high school credit. The students recently completed a civil engineering project. Each group was given a budget and each team member had a specific job.
Some students were an architect or engineer while others were a banker or a foreman. Once the plan was complete, the students built a mock-up of their city. This assignment provided a glimpse into the work required to plan, design, and develop a city!
By offering stimulating and challenging coursework for high-school credit, students will clearly demonstrate modes of expression, problem-solving skills, build confidence and character to pave the way for academic success and higher education.
