With Christmas falling on a Monday this year, we know it gives little time for staff and families to travel and prepare for the holiday. I’ve spoken with board members and principals, and we’ve determined our Friday activities can be shifted to accommodate a little extra time off. Therefore, schools will dismiss early on Friday, December 22, 2023.
I want to thank our staff and students for their work this fall semester, and I look forward to an even better Spring. We still have important work to do in school. Let’s finish the year strong: be present daily and make the most of every moment.

To help students in our community this holiday season, SJHS students are holding a food drive to collect food items over the next few weeks. Each day for 12 days, a certain item from the Blessings in a Bag’s wish list will be collected and donated. Please see the calendar below to find out which items are requested on which days. Feel free to substitute other items if you don’t have something on the calendar. The WIN class that brings the most items will earn $100 in SJH Cash daily.
